Question about LG's LCD 32LD400 model?

I would like to watch local channels on my TV. The 32" 32LD400 model comes with no antenna. I was wondering if I purchase the antenna, would I receive my local channels just like that? I don't need no cable wire or no special box correct? Help would be appreciated. Thank you.
